Connecting GPS-tracked assets

Connecting GPS-tracked assets

Maximise accuracy with GPS data from your telematics devices

🚧 Coming soon: This feature is under development. Check out our Prism FTC platform to automate FTC for your connected fleet in the mean-time!

Want even more accurate fuel tracking and Fuel Tax Credit (FTC) reporting? By linking your telematics data you can take your analysis to the next level.

Why connect asset tracking data?

Your fuel data tells you what was spent — your telematics data helps explain how, where, and why.

By connecting GPS tracking or engine data, the system can:

  • Match fuel use to real asset activity (like location and operating time)

  • Split fuel usage into on-road and off-road categories with precision — critical for FTC claims

  • Improve accuracy in efficiency reporting and comparisons

What happens next?

Once connected, the system will:

✅ Use location and usage data to enhance fuel analysis
✅ Automatically apply this to future FTC calculations
✅ Help you spot fuel use that doesn’t match expected asset behaviour

More data = more insights = better decisions. Connecting your asset tracking is a powerful step toward full fuel and cost transparency. Let us know if you need help getting set up!
