Importing fuel data from CSV, Excel and other sources
Bringing in fuel transactions from files that aren’t from listed fuel card providers
If your fuel data is in a CSV or Excel file — no problem! Here's how to import it step-by-step.
Step-by-step: Importing from CSV or Excel
-
Choose the CSV/Excel option
On the Import Fuel Data screen, select the CSV or Excel uploader from the list of import sources.
-
Upload your file
Drag and drop your file into the import wizard. You’ll get a preview of the data right away.
-
Pick your sheet (if using Excel)
If your file has multiple sheets, just choose the one you want to import from.
-
Map your data columns
Select which columns in your file match the required and optional fields in the system (like asset ID, fuel amount, date, etc.).
-
Finish the wizard
Follow the remaining steps to complete the import. That’s it!
What if my file type isn’t supported?
If your statement or file format isn’t listed in the import options:
This will notify our team. We’ll review the file and get in touch with advice — or, if possible, create a new import option for you in the future.
⚠️ Heads-up: This process takes a bit of time, so it won’t give you an instant result — but it might help streamline your imports down the track.
